THE WOOL MARKET. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright London, Nov. 28. The wool sales were postponed during ths fog. The Bradford market is quieter, and quotations tending in buyers’ favour. LONDON MARKETS. HIGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLED REPORT. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated November 26, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: MEAT. Market depressed and weak. Supplies are in excess of requirements, and prices have declined for most grades. New Zealand mutton, lightweight, November 26, 5%<L 6d: November 19, 6d, 6%d; November 12, 5V.d, 6,%d. New Zealand mutton, heavyweight, November 2G, 4Ud, 4%d; November, 19, 5d : November 12, 4yjd, 5%d. NewZealand ewes, lightweight, November 26, 4%d; November 19. 4-%d; November 12, 4%d. Market steady, but tendency to weaken towards the end of the week. Owing to expected discharge of several large consignments which have arrived and are afloat, the trade is of the opinion that prices will decline. New Zealand. —November 26, 198 s to 204 s per cwt. (Is !G s d to Is 9%d per lb) ; November 19 and November 12, 198 s to 200 s per cwt. (Is 9%d to Is 9%d per lb). Ruapehu will commence to discharge butter on Monday, but Athenic and subsequent arrivals delayed owing to difficulty experienced in moving meat which is on top. Government prices.—Following revision for period November 25 to December 8 : New Zealand: First grade, 194 s per cwt. (Is B%d per lb) ; second grade, 182 s per cwt (Is 7y 2 d per lb) ; first and second grade together, 192 s per oMt. (Is B‘kd per lb). CHEESE. The market is firm. New Zealand.—Ruapehu now discharging cheese, and condition and quality reported good. November 26, white, 100 s, 110 s per cwt. (10%, ll%d per lb) ; colored, 925, 106 s per cwt (9%d, 11%d per lb). November 19: White, 945. 106 s per cwt. (Hid, ll%d per lb) ; colored, 86s, 96s per cwt (9%(1, 10%d per lb). Competition improving and larger iToportion offerings have been selling. Home unde continues interest in crossbreds which are relatively cheaper than merinos. DAIRY PRODUCE. LONDON MARKET REPORTS. Messrs. Daigety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date November 25: Butter.—Market fairly steady. Danish, 225 s t.> 23Gs; Australian, finest unsalted, 196 s to 200 s, salted 178 s to 186 s, secondary .salted, ICBs to 1765, inferior 160 s to 1645; New Zealand, finest 198 s to 2045. Government prices: Australian, first grade, salted and unsalted, 1655; second grade, 1355; third grade, 115 s. There is more inquiry at prices named, but stocks are still large. “L Cl eese.—Market steady. New Zealand, colored 92s to 106 s, white 100 s to 110 s; Australian, colored 90s to 945; Canadian, c.i.f. quotation, 105 s to 106 s. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from x its London offie€' Butter.- Steady, 19Ss to 204 s per cwt. Cheese.—Stocks are small. Colored, 92s to 106 s per ewt. ; white, 100 s to UOs per cwt. Frozen Meat. The market has declined slightly. Wethers, light 5d to (id per lb., heavy 4%d to 4%d per lb.: ewes, 3%d to 4%d per lb.; lambs, under 361 b., 7d to Sd per lb. ; lambs, 3Glb. to 421 b., 7d to 7%>d per 11.'.; ox. hinds, 5d to 6d per lb.; ox fores, •".%d to 4%»d per lb. : cow hinds, 4d to 4%d per lb.; cow fores. 2%d to :ji/ 2 d per lb. Messrs. A. H. Turnbull and Co. have received cabled advice from Messrs. W.
