A VISIT TO FOXTON By -Telegraph—Fress Association Foxton, Last Night. The Governor-General and Viscountess Jellicoe visited Foxton to-day. The ( weather was perfect and the town wgs gaily decorated for the occasion. The Mayor read a speech of welcome. In his reply, the Governor-General said he believed the same spirit which animated our soldiers at the front will carry this country through the present difficulty arising from the war., and he sincerely trusted the time of prosperity will shortly set in, bringing happiness to all. The Vice-Regal party then visited the State school, and were entertained at luncheon by the Borough Council. Before leaving for Rongotea they opened the Anglican bazaar.
