FURTHER AMENDMENTS. (By Wire —Parliamentary Reporter? Wellington, Last Night. The Government has some more amendments to make in the tariff, and will introduce another set of resolutions in the House of Representatives, probably to-morrow. Then the consideration of the Tariff Bill and its schedules will be commenced by the House. The Prime Minister intends to ask members to apply themselves to this task until it is completed. He indicated, thia evening that he saw no reason why the Bill should not pass through all its stages in a week, but he does not intend to hurry the House.
