O'Shea, wto made the fastest time, secured the New Zealand road championship, the second fastest t’me being made by F. .1. Shalders (Christchurch). 6hn. Genin. 2 2-ssec. Th« finish between Sutton and Fuller was exciting. Sutton winning by six lengths. O'Shea beat Hill by half a length for third place.
