BELFAST RIOTS.

ANOTHER BOMB OUTRAGE. ATTACK ON WORKERS. Several wounded. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Received Nov. 25, 7.5 p.m. London, Nov. 24. Another bomb outrage occurred in Belfast at six o’clock. While shipyard workers were going home a Sinn Feiner flung a bomb into a tram passing the post office, resulting in indescribable confusion. People in Royal Avenue, which was crowded, fled in all directions panic-stricken. Six occupants of the tram were dangerously wounded, and at first it was thought two were killed. A youth whom those nearby alleged threw the bomb, was captured and handed over to the police, after the youth was badly mauled by the* crowd. Later tne youth’s guilt appeared doubtful, as passers-by alleged he had nothing to do with the* outrage, while the lad asserts he is innocent. There was renewed rioting in the York Street district after the funeral of four Royalist ex-service men. who were killed in the recent street fighting. They were given a military funeral, their coffins being draped with Union Jacks. Received Nov. 25, 8.5 p.m. London, Nov. 24. According to a Belfast message two are dead and six wounded as a result of the tram outrage. A second suspect has been arrested and detained. A similar outrage was perpetrated later in another part of the city, but no casualties are reported. The populace is evincing growing anger and hatred of the gunmen. and desperate and immediate reprisals are feared. OUTBREAK TO BE QUELLED. Received Nov. 25, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 24. Following the Ulster Cabinet’s conference with the Lord Mayor of Belfast and the police, Mr. Dawson said: “We are determined to stamp out this terrorism, and Intend to use our powers inflexibly.”
