WHEAT FOR EXPORT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Nov. 22. The price of wheat gristed for export has been reduced to 4s 10£d after securing Cabinet sanction. ZINC INDUSTRY REVIVING. Hobart, Nov. 22. Production at the Electrolytic Zinc Company’s works, which was suspended early in the year owing to the collapse of the meat market, has been resumed. SLUMP IN MEAT PRICES. Sydney, Nov. 23. Good beef sold wholesale on Tuesday at less than a penny per pound. Other wholesale prices were also exceedingly low. MOTHERHOOD ENDOWMENT. Sydney, Nov. 23. Tn the Assembly, the Motherhood Endowmen Bill was read a third time by 44 votes to 34. NEW MEMBER FOR GOULBURN. Sydney, Nov. 23. Mr. J. A. Perkins, nominated by Sir George Fuller, was sworn in as member for Goulburn. AMENDING FEDERAL CONSTITUTION Melbourne, Nov. 23. Tn the House of Representatives, Mr. Hughes introduced a Bill to provide a National Convention to revise the Federal constitution. The Bill provides that the Convention shall consist of 11l members, 75 elected by the Federal electorate, 18 elected by the Federal Parliament, and IS by the State Parliaments.
