INCREASING ALLIED TROOPS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received Nov. 21, 5.5 p.m. Athens, Nov. 20. Ismet Pasha and Djemal Pasha, who were released from Malta, nave been appointed to command the eastern and northern armies. Shefik Pasha, inspector general of the eastern army, and a hundred officers, have been dismrssea after conviction for intriguing with Enver Pasha. Since General Harrington returned to Constantinople the British force has been increased to twenty thousand, French five thousand, and the Italian four thousand, which is believed to be inadequate in view of the population of two millions in the vicin'itv of the citv.—Aus.-N.Z.
