Mr. Lloyd George and Sir James Craig will meet early in the week for an informal discussion of the Ulster position. It is believed that a possible solution of the difficulty has been found, and the position appears to hold greater potentiality for peace than formerly. Sir Robert Horne, addressing the Cambridge University Conservative Association, said Ireland would never be so well governed as under the union. It would be far better if she wouki keep under the united system, but that was now past praying for. AN ULSTER SENSATION. ALLEGED SECRET ARMY. London, Nov. 20. A sensation has been caused in political circles by the publication of a secret document, alleged to have been issued by Colonel Wickham. Divisional Commissioner of the Irish Constabulary in Belfast, which Sinn Fein contends indicate* that an army is being secretly organised in Ulster by the British Government, with the object of taking <he field at any moment. It is understood the document was issued without the knowledge of the Irish Office in London. The matter is being taken up by the authorities. THE SINN FEIN ARMY. LARGE NUMBER ON PARADE. Received Nov. 21, 8.5 p.m. London, Nov. 21. The Irish Republican Army paraded 25.000 strong in Dublin yesterday, the anniversary of the day on which many of their associates were killed. The force mustered in Rutland Square in battalions, and marched to the Glasnevin Cemetery, where wreaths were placed on the graves of Sinn Feiners. The march and. the ceremony occupied two hours. .JRiile this was occurring loyalists rethat the day was also the anniversary of Red Sunday, on which fourteen British officers were massacred in hotels and Judging houses in Dublin. Th- Spikeland internment camp was evacuated yesterday, and 500 Sinn Feiners were transferred under armed escort to Maryborough. A crowd cheered the prisoners. who sang the soldiers’ song.—Aus.NJZ. Cable Assn. TROUBLE IN BELFAST. MORE RIOTS REPORTED. London. Nov. 20. There was a stormy week in Belfast, including several revolver fights, which culminated this evening in grave armed rioting in the Sea Forest district. Heavy fighting was in progress for more than an hour. A large force of police, with machine-gunners, eventually restored order. Akienfian Barry, who was killed by a sentry at an internment camp, was buried in the Republican plot in Cork Cemetery to- day, in the presence of ten thousand. mainly the Irish Republican Army, including representatives of De Valera, the Lord Mayor of Cork and Dublin. The Irish Republican Army fired volleys at the graveside.
