SIR JOSEPH WARD.

ARRIVAL AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Sir Joseph Ward returned to Wellington to-day by the Tahiti, accompanied by Lady Ward and Mr. Pat Ward. He was welcomed at the wharf by a number of members of Parliament, Legislative councillors, and prominent citizens. Cheers were given for Sir Joseph Ward, who, in acknowledging them, said he was delighted to be back in New Zealand. To pressman Sir Joseph Ward said he was well in health, but for the present he declined to be interviewed.
