GERMAN MAGNATE.
A VISIT TO LONDON. OBJECT NOT DISCLOSED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Received Nov. 21, 12.5 a.m. London, Nov. 20. Herr Stinnes, the German industrial magnate, has arrived in London, attended by a* considerable suite. He attempted to avoid an interview with journalists. The Sunday Express alleges that the magnate has come to attempt a deal in connection with aniline dyes with the Government. He refused to talk to reporters with Reference to his scheme to assist reparation payments by means of foreign credits. A Downing Street official, interviewed, denied the truth of the Berlin statement that Herr Stinnes had been invited to London by Mr. Lloyd George, who is unlikely to meet him.
