REPARATIONS.
COMMISSION’S NOTE TO GERMANY. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright Berlin, Nov. Sir John Bradbury has sent a note to the Chancellor on behalf of the Reparation Commission, stating that Germany can and must pay. The commission has decided not to allow the conditions of payment to be changed. Germany is rich in resources, and, with all her factories busy, she is in a position to obtain the necessary credits, providing all her active forces work together and the stability of the Government is sufficient to engender confidence in the fulfilment of Germany’s obligations. MONEY FORTHCOMING. Paris, Nov. 18. Germany has paid 45 million gold marks, corresponding with the German customs receipts from October 15 to November 14. The next payment, due on December 1, amounts to 85 million gold marks, due in regard to the 26 per eent. levy on German exports.
