SOME SHARP FIGHTING. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, Nov. 17. Two thousand Moplahs attacked a Gurkha post at Pandikkad. Fifty-six penetrated the defences and all wen killed. One Gurkha officer was killed, also a British officer. The fighting was protracted severe. Two hundred and thirty rebels and three of oui ranks were killed and 34 wounded. The Pandikkad postihaster was murdered. In consequence of the extremist propaganda, eight Calcutta policemen have submitted their resignations.
