STRICTER REGULATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assnelation. Wellington, Last Night. Amended quarantine regulations have lx*en effected by Order-in-Council. Special measures are taken to prevent the migration of rats from ships, and for the destruction of rats, mice and other vermin on board ship. The regulations also deal with the fumigation of cargoes and the disinfection of mails. A penalty of £5O is provided for any breach of the regulations.
