PLUNKET SOCIETY.
TO-DAY’S COLLECTIONS. The Plunket Society has obtained permission from the Borough Council to take up a street collection in New Plymouth to-day. Those who contribute 2s 6d or more will he provided witt a Plunket badge, which will entitle them to the freedom of the city. A band of helpers will also collect from house to house, anti it is hoped will receive generous donations for the good cause.
