GENERAL CABLES.
MR. BOTTOMLEY’S TROUBLES. By Telegraph.—Tress Assn.—Copyright. London, Nov. 14. Replying to Mr. Bottomley’a letter, the Lord. Chancellor states that he has no jurisdiction to administer the suggested reprimand to Mr. Biron, the London magistrate, even if circumstances justified it, a point upon which he would not express an opinion. The question of prosecuting Mr. Bottomley for perjury was one that appertained to the Director of Pubic Prosecutions, under the direction of the At-torney-General, to whom Mr. Bottomley’s letter had been forwarded.
