THE WOOL MARKET. OPENING SALE NEXT WEEK. By Telegraph —Press Association. .Wellington, Last Night. Wool is coming in well for th.e sales ’n Wellington on Thursday—the first or the New Zealand selling season. There will be an offering of approximately. 7000 bales. Mr. Carey, chairman of the Wellington Wool Brokers’ Association, stated that certain reports are circulating throughout the Dominion to the effect that the order of sales is likely to bo interfered with by reason of the difficulty which lias arisen between 'he woo! buyers and the banks relative to bills of lading, but he stated authoritatively that this could not have any bearing on the date of the opening sale, scheduled to be held in ■Wellington next Thursday. There will be ample shipping space available in i>ort for the reception of wool bought at the coming sale within fourteen days after the sale. LONDON METAL MARKETS.
