THE FIJI TARIFF.
NEW DUTIES IMPOSED. By Telegraph.—Fress Assn —Copyright. Received Nov. 11, 5.5 p.m. Suva, Nov. 11. The Legislative Council has passed an ihcreased tariff and has reimposed a duty on foodstuffs. Foreign goods will pay an extra duty from January next. Crude oil and coal will be free. An export duty of 20/- per ton is imposed on molasses. The income tax minimum has been reduced to £5OO for married persons and £250 for single.
