RESULT OF POLL. j J HEREBY give notice that a Poll of Ratepayers of the Borough of New Plymouth was taken on the Second Day of November, 1921, upon the following proposal:— Proposal to approve of the New Plymouth Borough Council issuing Debentures bearing interest at such a rate per annum t as shall be determined by the Uouncil for the whole or any part of the £9OOO Special Loen proposed to be raised for additions and extensions of the Council’s Electric Lighting and Power Works. The number of valid votes recorded FOR the proposal was 503 The number of valid votes recorded AGAINST the proposal was .. 193 The TOTAL number of valid votes recorded was '7Ol I therefore declare the said proposal CARRIED.
