MR. MASSEY CONTROLS FINANCE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Auckland, Nov. 7. Mr. Massey stated that he had resumed control of the Treasury. Mr. Guthrie remains in charge of Railways, Mr Anderson of Mines, Mr. Stewart of Customs and Internal Affairs. Mr. Massey added: “I have always held that finance should be controlled by the Prime Minister, and so long as I am head of the Government I intend to hold the portfolio of Finance.”
