Received Nov. 6, 5.5 p.m. Tbe second League football test match at Hull resulted in a win for Australasia by sixteen to two. The first half of the game was strenuous, the tackling on botli sides being deadly, but the visitors showed up better in exchanges of passing. The spell ended with a penalty goal each. The second half wus attractive play, being fast, and the visitors being aggressive. Profiting by their opponents’ mistakes, they frequently penetrated the English lines, and, despite the desperate efforts of England to retrieve the position, the Australasians added fourteen points, the home team’s score remaining unchanged. A number of players on both sides suffered minor injuries. Nineteen penalties were awarded, of which ten were against England. The behaviour of the crowd was the best of the tour J—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
