NEW PLYMOUTH “A** DEFEAT VOGELTOWN A closely-contested game played at Vogel■r.wn was won by the visitors by a small margin in the last few beads. Vogeltown put forth a moat creditable effort, and the improvement shown in their play indicates that they will be a hard club to beat as the season advances. They are such good sports that a few successes would give great pleasure to all Taranaki bowlers. The green played well, and elicited favorable comments from the visitors.
