BOAT SINKS ON RIVER. THREE PERSONS DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.-Copyright, Received Oct. 31, 10.25 p.m. Perth, Oct. 31. An electric storm, accompanied by terrific wind, caused extensive damage in the city. There were many capsizes on the Swan river. One yacht, with five persons on board, attempted to make the shore, but the ballast shifted and she capsized and sank. Dorothy Barker and Nellie Banken (sisters) and Leslie Maddoeks (owner of the boat) were drowned.
