CUSTOMS REVENUE.
PORT OF NEW PLYMOUTH. A considerable decrease is shown in the’amount of Customs-revenue collected at the port of New Plymouth in October, as compared with the corresponding month of last year, this year s sum being £4255 18s lid, against over £12,000 last October. There was also a decrease of over £lOO in the beet duty. Details are: — 1921 1920 Customs £4255 IS 11 .£12,558 13 0 Beer duty £149 13 3 £293 1 5 In the ten months up to October 31, the total Customs duty amounts to £59,326 5s 7d, and £2039 7s 3d was collected in beer duty.
