STRIKE THREAT WITHDRAWN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Oct. 29, 12.5 a.m. New York, Oct. 28. The Chicago railroad unions have decided to withdraw the strike order, on the ground that the Government had aroused popular opposition by skilful propaganda among railway officials.
