ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
MAN FATALLY SCALDED. By Telegraph—-Press Association. Napier, Oct. 26. William Paterson, aged 65, an inmate of the Old People’s Home, was scalded while bathing on Friday and died in hospital. The coroner found that death was due to shock and burns. GORED BY A BULL. Gisborne, Oct. 26. W. Perryer, chief steward for dairy cattle, was gored by a bull in the cattle ring, badly injured, and removed to the hospital.
