GHURKAS DEFEAT REBELS. By Telegraph.—Press Asm Copyright Delhi, Oct. 23. In the second engagement, previously reported, the Ghurkas, by a heavy defeat of the rebels, created a favorable impression upon the Hindu population, who are now showing more fight. The Government admits that civil police at Malabar are insufficient to cope with the situation.
