SHIPMENT OF MEAT.
IAfPROVED SYSTEM ADVISED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 23, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 22. A London meat importers’ conferepceß unanimously decided to urge the produc-a era in New Zealand again to consider the advisability of pooling small con-*] signments under one market. The con-1 gestion of meat in the United has been seriously aggravated by thei multiplicity of marks, which ships unloading and caused deterioration: through the frequent opening of.’ thatches and extra handling, besides in-j creasing the cost. These handicaps arej non-existent in other meats, notasblyd South American, which is shipped M long lines, all under the same marks.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
