LATEST LONDON PRICES. BETTER DEMAND FOR NEW ZEALAND’ By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Received Oct. 21, 9.5 p.m. London, Oct. 20. Government butter prices are unchanged. New Zealand and Argentine butter is meeting with more demand, but Australian is very slow of sale, and a reduction iu the price is probable. Danish is easier, and is quoted at about 2355. A further reduction is expected next week. The new Australian butter is hardly of the best standard. There is a fair demand for choicest, but secondaries are neglected. Quotations: Unsalted Victorian, finest, 196 s to 200 s, good fine 184 s to 190 s; salted Victorian, finest 190 s to 1945, good fine 180 s to 186 s; Queensland and South Australian, finest 184 s to 186 s, good fine 170 s to 1765.
The cheese market is quiet. The finest white - New Zealand is quoted at 96s tc 100 s, colored 90s to 945; secondaries, colored 84s to 86s, white 90s to 94s
