DOMINION TOURNAMENT. SEMI-FINALS DECIDED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The New Zealand golf championship meeting was continued at Shirley to-day in dull weather. The course was heavy in the morning, as the result of steady rain during the night, but it improved as the day wore on. The amateur and professional championships were advanced to the semi-final stage, and the tournament concludes to-morrow. Results: AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. ’ Third Round. Black (Hutt) beat Godby (Christchurch), 2 Wight (St. Clair) beat Goss (Wanganui), 1 up. Sime (Greymouth) beat McCormack (Auckland), 3 and 2. Bidwill (Wairarapa) beat McFarlane (Christchurch) 1 up. Semi-final. Black beat Wight at the 19th holo. Sime beat Bidwill, 2 and 1. PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Semi-final. Douglas (Miramar) beat Clements (Napier) ax the IDtti hole. 3 and* I (Aucbia “d) beatAßutters (Christchurch) A stroke handicap was won py E.' C, Whitcombe with a net scare of 82.
