EASY DIVORCE.
PROTEST BY BAPTIST CHURCH. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The Baptist Conference to-day appointed the Rev. J. J. North a New Zealand delegate to the Pan Congress at Paris next year. Mr. and Mrs. Tunnicliffe were also requested to be delegates. The executive was instructed to arrange an evangelical mission to the West Coast. The conference passed a resolution regretting the recent amendments to the divorce law, adding that these facilities for easy divorce cannot but be a source of national weakness, and the conference urged their repeal. The conference concluded to-night.
