A CHINAMAN’S SUICIDE. By, Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 19. A Chinaman. Joe Chow, aged about 23 years, was found hanging in a Haining Street house. The body was suspended by a rope, one end of which was fastened to a banister of a steep staircase. SUICIDE IN HOSPITAL. Christchurch, Oct. 18. G. H. Briggs committed suicide at the Hamner Hospital. He had been receiving treatment for delirium tremens.
