WESTERN PARK CLUB. A meeting of the management committee of the newly formed Western Park Cricket Club was held in the secretary’s office on Monday evening, and good progress was reported in every respect. It was decided to enter a senior and a. junior team for the competition, ar-d, weather penmitting, it was decided to hold a practice at the Western Park on Thursday from 4.30 p.m. Thirteen honorary members at an annual subscription of 10s 6d. were elected, and in view or the expense to secure material for the. two teams it was decided to make an active canvas for more of these members. Any cricket enthusiast who is not able to play, and who wishes to assist this new club, is invited to become an honorary member.
