TYPHOID OUTBREAK.

NO FURTHER CASES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Levin, Oct. 18. Tn a statement to-day, Dr. Valintine said that everything was satisfactory with regard to the outbreak of typhoid fever amongst the Maoris of Muhumoa Pa. There have been no more cases and the hospital has been closed, the patients going back to their homes, where they are being attended by nurses daily. Stringent measures are being taken to prevent the spread of the infection and he did not anticipate any extension of the outbreak.
