Or ’ dera for papers may also be left with them. October 15. The Stratford County Council passed a vote of sympathy with Mr. C. D. Sole (chairman of the Stratford Hospital Board) in his illness. The chairman (Mr. E. Walter), speaking at the meeting of the council this morning, paid tribute to Mr. Sole’s exceptionally good work as chairman of the board. As honor should be given to whom honor was due, Mr. Sole deserved every credit for so well looking after the interests not only of the patients, but also all the residents of the district. No one eo'uld have done better work, his whole heart being bound up in his duties. It was with very great regret that the speaker heard of his severe illness, and he only hoped Mr. Sole would be blessed with a speedy recovery. Crs. Belcher and O’Neill, as members of the board, endorsed the remarks of the chairman, and the clerk was instructed to convey the terms of the resolution to Mr. Sole. The meeting convened last evening with the object of forming a cricket club in Stratford lapsed for want of a quorum. Mr. A. Nelson, the convener of the meeting, has not lost .faith in the venture, and hopes to receive better support when he calls another meeting shortly. The large number of satisfied users of the Corona Portable Typewriter is the best advertisement the machine could have. It is ideal for secretaries, ministers and all business men.
