SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 15. In the Supreme Court to-day the following sentences were imposed:—Andrew Michael Curtin (17 years of age) and James Richard Cameron (aged 19), for breaking and entering and theft at Hastings, probation for three years, and the sum of £7l odd to be restored to the firm from which it was stolen; Alfred James Gardiner (aged 20), for receiving stolen moneys from the prisoner Curtin, six months; George .Edwards (aged 21), Cecil Henry ‘.Edwards (aged 21), and George W-aTter Ed’vnrds (aged 28), for theft of 21. eas?s. of petrol at Dannevirke, three years’ probation; Cecil Glen Rosisiter (aged. for theft of 36 cases of poultry, valued at £292, and forgery of orders for delivery, two years for theft and one month for forgery; Thomas Austin Griffiths (aged 22), for breaking and entering and attempted rape, six months imprisonment on the first, charge and two years on the second charge, and declared to be a habitual criminal.
