A statement issued on behalf of the ex-Kaiser dealing wi:h hi® financial position states the Prussian Government seized all the Hohenzftllern family's private properties and in the meanwhile the ex-Kaiser has been living on money sent from Germany, which was converted into Dutch currency at a low rate of exchange. The exKaiser has been forced to economise and further reduce his staff at Doorn and refuse requests from former coul’tierand others for relief.
