A CLAIM FOR £609,000. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Ccpyrignt. Received Ort. 7, 5.5 p.m. - London. Ort. 6. The Royal Commission on awards to Inventors, conridereo 3 claim of the Walton Motors, limited, for £609.000, on account of aero engines. Eleven thousand ‘ dragonflies’’ were ordered, and only one thousand were delivered. None were used in the war. Sir Gordon Hewart (AttorneyGeneral) Raid £2,000,000 of the taxpayers’ monev was spent in a vain effort to make the “dragonfly” engine practical.
