GANDHI’S MANIFESTO. A DANGEROUS MOVE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Delhi, Oct.. 5. At a meeting in Bombay, Gandhi and 50 other extremist leaders issued a manifesto claiming that, in view of the prosecution of the Ali brothers, it is the inherent right of everyone to express unrestrained opinion about the offering of services, or remaining in the service of the Government, whether civil or military, more especially military. The manifesto adds that it is the duty of every Indian soldier and civilian to sever connection with the Government and find other employment. REBELS FIGHT TROOPS. Received Oet. 7, 1.5 a.m. Delhi, Oct. 6. Five hundred Moplaws engaged a detachment of Suffolks near Kumaramputhur. Between forty and fifty Moplahs were killed.
