It is generally conceded that he *un«elflshly sacrificed his life to a high sense of public duty, and that he will be a great loss to the Labor Party. He is the first Premier j of New South Wales to die in office and * will be accorded a State funeral tomorrow. THE ACTING PREMIER. Received Oct. 6, 9.15 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 6. The Governor has granted a temporary commission to Mr. Dooley to act as Premier until a caucus elects a successor to Mr. Storey.
