Results:— Bantam-weight. —V. Nolan (Queensland) beat J. Blair (New South Wales) on points. Light-weight.—O. Sinclair (Queensland) knocked out 11. Kane (Victoria) ir the third round. May (New’ Zealand) beat E, Thompson (New South Wales) in the second round, the latter seeking the refuge of the ropes. May gave a clever display of clean hitting. Feather-weight.—A. Key (Victoria) beat G. White (New South Wales) on points. Hatton (New Zealand) beat E Webb (Queensland) on points after rounds willing boxing. Middle-weight.—Meale (New Zealand),-, defeated J. Souter (Victoria) on points easily. Meale was on top all the way. Souter was down for nine in the sec--ond round. M. Williams (Queensland) beat Q. Boyce (New South Wales) on points. Heavy-weight.—C. Jardine (New South Wales) beat G. Muller (Queensland) on points. McCleary (New Zealand) beat W. Clarke (South AiwtraL : a) on points. This was the best contest of the night, McCleary using hi®, left and right frequently, and both.} were cheerwl for their vigorous Welter-weight.-r-C. Sinclair land) forfeited to F. Martyn Sinclair figured earlier in the R. Finley (New South M r ales) be&il O’Neill (New Zealand) on points. was a doubtful decision, though there was little in it either way. Both gave ,a clever exhibition of scientific boxing.
