ALLEGED THEFT.
GOODS FROM WHARF SHEDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Police Court to-day, William Campton (43), motor-van driver, William Lankshear Waters (36), tally clerk, and Herbert Cummins (41), tally clerk, were charged on several counts with the theft of goods from wharf sheds. Campton pleaded guilty, and the others not guilty. The charges included the theft of a case of ladies’ hosiery valued at £79, a parcel of 652 yards of blue serge ( £95 5s 6d), a case of canned pears (£2 Ils 6d), 31 pairs of blankets and 16 rugs (£125 6s fid), a cose of matches (£lO 18s 6d), and a package of dress material (£5 10s). Campton was committed for sentence. The charges against the others have not been concluded.
