Details of the Nyalla (Abyssinia) fighting show that mounted infantry and police repulsed an attack by tribesmen, who reported that they lost 000 killed, including the leader of the rising. Abdullah el-Saghayer. The British casualties totalled 61. Captain Chonn. of the Army Veterinary Corps., Mr. M‘Neill, Soudan Civil Service, and three other civil employees were killed.
