WEDDING.
PALMER—WILLJAMS. A very popular wedding and one of more than ordinary interest took place at St. Patrick’s Church, Patea, on Monday evening. The church, which was prettily decorated for the occasion, was packed with guests and friends long before the appointed hour. The contracting parties were Mr. D. P. (Des) Palmer, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Palmer, of Waverley, and Miss Ada Magdalene, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Williams of Patea, the Rev. Father Cahill being the officiating minister.
