Simpson, erf the British Trade Corporation, Sir Allan Smith, of the Engineering Employers’ Federation, Mr. W. L. Hichens and Mr. W. T. Layton, an authority on Economics. Meanwhile a Cabinet committee is considering the possiblty of extending the export credit scheme to South America and the Far East. It is pointed out that the difficulty barring the reestablishment of trad§_is that 75 per cent, of British pre-war trade was with countries whose exchanges have now depreciated.
