BOWLING.

TARANAKI CLUBS. The Fitzroy, West End, and Vogeltown Clubs have decided to officially open the season together on October 15. Vogeltown and West End greens will be informally opened for practice today, while Fitzroy and New Plymouth are still playing on their winter green. The Waitara Bowling Club opens its season on the Sth inst. The New Plymouth Club is delaying the official opening of its new greens until November, when it is hoped the new concrete pavilion will be finished and ready for occupation.
