MINERS’ DISPUTE.
QUESTION OF SETTLEMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 29. A northern paper publishes the alleged details of a settlement of the fcoal mines dispute, but an official of the Employers’ Federation states that the report is premature. No settlement has yet been arrived at, and the publication is likely to prejudice the Chances of reaching a settlement. They have nothing to publish.
