The Rarawa, which has been undergoing overhaul, left Auckland at 2.10 p.m. on Saturday and reached Onehunga at 6 a.m. on Mon, day after a fine-weather passage. Leaving Onehunga In the afternoon with passengers and 220 tons of cargo, the vessel arrived at , New Plymouth at 5,30 a.m. yesterday. Included in the cargo was 140 tons of cement and 23 tons of sugar. The Rarawa sailed on the return trip at 8.30 p.m. WAIKAWA SAILS. The Walkawa finished discharging her U.S. and Canadian cargo yesterday, and sailed for Melbourne at 5.15 p.m. KUROW DISCHARGING. The work of discharging the Kurow’s Newcastle and Wellington cargo was proceeding yesterday and last night. The vessel will sail for Westport about the end of the week. W AIR UNA FROM CALCUTTA. The Union Company advise that the Walruna is to take the November .loading at Calcutta for New Zealand ports. PALOONA LEFT MELBOURNE. Cable advice has been received by the Union Company that their intercolonial passenger steamer Paloona left Melbourne on Saturday direct for Wellington. The vessel is due there to-morrow, and will sail on Friday for Melbourne, via Lyttelton. Dunedin and Blu<T. MAHIA LEFT CARDIFF. I The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company have I been notified by cable that the Mahia left i Cardiff on September 24 for Auckland, with i a load of coal. She Is due at the northern port about November G. MATAKANA LEFT LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company have received cable advice that the Matakana, on her maiden voage, left Liverpool on Saturday last for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The vessel should reach Auckland on November 6 and Wellington a week | later. She is 8200 tons gross register, and is reported to be commanded by Captain Bosdet. MARAMA LEFT 'FRISCO. The Union Company have been advised by cable that the R.M.S. Marama left San Francisco at noon on Saturday last for Wellington, via. Papeete and Rarotonga. The Marama is due at Wellington on October 16. TAHITI FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company advise that the R.M.S. Tahiti is to leave Sydney to-morrow for Wellington direct. The vessel is due there on Monday, and will sail again on Tuesday next for »San Frpncisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete. WAIHEMO FROM VANCOUVER. The Union Company advise that the Walhemo, from Vancouver and San Francisco, with general cargo and case oil, is due at Auckland about October 9. From Auckland the vessel will proceed to Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Australia. WAITEMATA LEFT SINGAPORE. Cable news has been received by the Union Company that the Waitemata left Singapore on the 18th instant, In eontinuaton of her voyage from Calcutta to New Zaland ports via Townsville. The vessel is due at Auckland about the middle of October, and at Wellington a week later. SHIPPING TELEGRAM# ARRIVED.
