WEDDING.

SPRATT—GOODSON. A popular and very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Mary’a Church, Hawera, by Rev. R. Franklin, on Wednesday last, when Miss Rachel Alice Letitia, second daughter of Mr. and Airs. Charlea Good-son, was married to Mr. Arthur Ernest, youngest son of Air. and Mrs. Harry Spratt. The church had been artistically decoraiM for the occasion by friends of the bride. The service was choral, two • appropriate hymns being sung by meyibers of St. Mary’s choir and by. the congregation, and the Wedding March and incidental music being played as the bridal party left the church. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory charmante with overdress of Georgette, the train being of gold brocade over tulle. The veil was embroidered and held in place with a wreath of orange blossoms. Iler bridesmaids were Misses Colleen Holder and Catherine Good. The former wore nbell pink brocade and georgette frock, finished with a girdle of georgette and silver. She wore a black hat of tulle lace. Miss Good was dressed in apricot charmeuse, with which was worn a black crinoline hilt, wreathed with colored flowers and wheat. Alias Geraldine Goodson, as flower girl, wore pale heliotrope crepe de chine and hat of black tulle with long streamers. The two little trainbearers were Jocelyn Alilroy and Francis Cox, and both looked very pretty. The boat man was Mr. Trevor Goodson, and the groomsman Air. Alaurice Barton (Wanganui). After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mr. and Alns. Goodson, when a large number of gueats were present. The customary toasts were honored, after which the happy pair left by motor on honeymoon trip, speeded by the good wishes of all.—Star.
