AMBASSADORS’ CONFERENCE.
ULTIMATUM TO HUNGARY.

The Ambassadors’ Conference has not yet despatched an ultimatum to Hungary regarding Burgenland, but it is understood the terms are practically settled. Hungary will be given ten to fourteen days to evacuate Burgenland, failing which the Allies will take the severest measures.
Received Sept. 22, 8.30 p.m. ' Rome, Sept. 22. Regarding the West Hungarian situation, it is stated that Italy will not send troops and does not intend to accept the role of the policeman of En-jrape.—Aus.-NX Cable Assn.
