THE RBIU DELAYED. The Rimu arrived from Onehunga early yesterday morning with passengers and 115 tons of cargo. Owing to the strong wind blowing and the high sea running it was decided to postpone the vessel’s sailing on the return trip until 4 o'clock this afternoon. CORINNA TO-MORROW. The Corinna, which is making her first run between Dunedin and New Plymouth since overhaul, left Lyttelton at 10 p.m. on Monday after loading 450 tons of cargo. She was due at Nelson yesterday, and, provided rain does not cause delay, should be here tomorrow. EASTERNER DISCHARGING. The rain is causing delay in the discharging of the Easterner at the breakwater, but it is hoped to have the vessel ready to sail on Friday. ALEXANDER ON FRIDAY. The New Plymouth agents (Cock and Co.) advise that the steamer Alexander is due to arrive at New Plymouth on Friday with about 220 tons of coal to discharge. KUROW ON FRIDAY. The Union Company's Kurow, which loaded coal at Newcastle, is due from Wellington and Picton on Friday to complete discharge, and she will require the deep-water berth. ZITA WITH TAR. Yesterday’s Dominion states that the Zita was to sail from Wellington yesterday with a full load of tar for New Plymouth. NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. Tl:e R.M.S. Niagara, which left Vancouver on September 10 for Sydney, is due at Auckland on September 30, continuing the journey to Sydney the same day. She brings 1128 bags of mail for New Zealand, besides 358 for Australia. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. The agents advise that the Canadian Spinner is due at Wellington on Octotber 2 from Melbourne «to discharge Montreal cargo and to load for New York. Boston, and Montreal. From Wellington the vessel will proceed to Lyttelton and Bluff, sailing finally from Bluff. CARGO FROM PACIFIC SLOPE. With cargo from Powell River, Ocean Falls, | Union Bay, Vancouver, and San Francisco, ( the. Union Company’s steamer Walhemo left the latter port early last week for Auckland. Her other ports are Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports of Melbourne and Sydney. She should arrive at Auckland about October 8. WAIMANA LEFT LONDON. Cable news has been received by tl:e Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Waimana left Colon on the 17th Inst, for Wellington, en route from London. The vessel is now due at Wellington on October 9. CARGO OF OIL. The steamer Havre arilv.ed at Auckland on Monday morning with a cargo of 2250 tons of case oil from Singapore. This consists of Shell spirit, diralene, benzoline, aviation spirit, and Cross Bower engine kerosene, most of which is for discharge at Auckland. There are also about 100 tons of liquid fuel. The Havre will subsequently go to Wellington to discharge the remaining portion of ti:e cargo, and afterwards returns to Singapore in ballast to load again for New Zealand. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED. Melbourne, September 20.—Paloona, from Bluff. London, September 19.—At Port Natal, Westmoreland; at Panama, Paparoa. SAILED. London, September 19.—Wleringen, Chorea, Waiotapu and Surrey, for Sydney.
